“Why aren’t you looking into my eyes, Caroline?” Klaus asked as they slowly danced to the music playing in the background. “Are you afraid I might compel you?”
“No, that’s not it.” Caroline answered as she bit her lip, still looking at her own feet. Klaus looked curiously at her, waiting for a proper answer. “It’s just that I’m not really good at this dance. I don’t want to fall.”
Klaus laughed lightly at that pulling Caroline a little closer. “You’re a vampire, sweetheart. I highly doubt you could fall because of a misstep. Besides, I’m leading you. You just need to trust me.”
Caroline slowly looked up at him and after seeing his encouraging smile she relaxed. For some unexplainable reason she found herself doing exactly what he said. Trusting him.

Sorry for my mini hiatus.
Damn the 24 hour allowance time for a computer. I mean, I know computers are in a high demand but why can I only have it for 24 hours. My computer doesn’t get here till at least February if I’m lucky. fucking Warranty Logistics.

…I get it for about 24 hours. I can renew it and then I have to give it back Thursday. I just needed it for the first couple days of class because I’ve got stuff to do.
…It still blows. I mean I miss my baby. I miss having a computer all the time.
